Ever dreamed of owning an older home, full of character, and then rehabbing it?  Unfortunately, for lots of people, that dream is never acted upon for a couple of legitimate reasons: the thought of living in a construction mess, and the difficulty of handling a new mortgage and new construction loan simultaneously.

In Howard both difficulties disappear, thanks to Miner County Community Revitalization’s home rehab program.  A Housing and Urban Development (HUD) grant makes it possible to rehab a home from the inside out all at once, before you move in, and construction costs are worked into the mortgage.
